Your First Tattoo?

Getting your first tattoo can be daunting; but everyone at Watford Tattoo will work with you to make your experience as pleasant as possible. The steps toward turning your tattoo ideas into reality at Watford Tattoo are simple;

  • Book in for a FREE consultation with one of our friendly and experienced artists by contacting us here.
  • Collect as much reference material as you can to bring to your consultation, these can be photos, drawings, online pictures, the more the better. This will help your artist to visualize your ideas and create something for you.
  • At your consultation you have the opportunity to ask the artist any questions about the design, tattoo process and anything else you would like to know, and the artist will ask you questions regarding placement, size and style of tattoo to help appropriately quote your tattoo.
  • If you are happy with your consultation and proposed ideas, you can go ahead and book your tattoo appointment! We ask for a deposit to secure the slot and allow the artist to begin working on your custom design.
  • Before the day of your tattoo, we will be in contact to confirm your appointment and give you the opportunity to ask any final questions before coming into the studio.
  • At your tattoo appointment your artist will make sure you are completely content with your design and then your bespoke tattoo process will begin!

TOP TIPS TO REMEMBER

  • Our artists will NEVER copy another artist’s design, so do not be offended if the artist will not copy a piece exactly; they will re-design and re-style your reference to make it unique to you.
  • Amendments can be made to your design up until the needle goes into your skin, our aim is to make sure you are 100% happy with your idea and know that we are here to help

  • We are a fully disposable tattoo studio meaning we work to the highest level of studio hygiene and safety.
  • Our shop also has non-slip flooring, hospital grade vinyl sealed at all joins making our tattoo area safer from all types of bacteria.
  • We are proud to use a digital ultrasonic cleaner for all of our piercing and tattooing tools to guarantee ongoing safety for our clients.
